Chemin de Saint-Jacques

The road to Saint-Jacques crosses the territory of La Porte du Hainaut (road coming from Bruges and Tournai and leaving towards Saint-Quentin). The rehabilitation of this road with the association Saint-Jacques in Boulangrie, was the occasion of a great hiking party on Sunday 28 April 2013, with the inauguration of the portion Saint-Amand-les-Eaux - Wallers and the laying of brass shells on the ground that materialize the way in the city center of the communes crossed. Also on Sunday, 15 September 2013, the Wallers - Bouchain portion was inaugurated by way of Denain and the brass shells were laid on the ground in the town center of these communes. On April 27, 2014, the last stretch between Mortagne-du-Nord and Saint-Amand-les-Eaux was finalized!
