𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝘂 𝟯𝟭 𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝘂 𝟬𝟱 𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 The CRP/ is pleased to welcome the artist 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 for her first exhibition in France. Folded, contorted, inverted, the body transcends itself in the photographs of Isabelle Wenzel. A former acrobat, the German artist from Wuppertal has been staging herself in each of her creations for over twenty years. Form and sculpture, her own body becomes an instrument for measuring the world. Suspended in movement, it fills the space in a performative, free and sometimes burlesque work.
