🖼️ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲́𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 The association 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗱'𝗛𝘂𝗰𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗱 invites you to discover the works of 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 : 📆 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶 𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 ⏰ 𝟭𝟰𝗵𝟯𝟬 𝗮̀ 𝟭𝟳𝗵𝟯𝟬 📍 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲́ « 𝗔𝘂𝘅 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 » – 𝟮𝟳 𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗱'𝗢𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁-𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗘𝗮𝘂𝘅 🎟️ 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲́𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗔̀ 𝟭𝟱𝗵 : 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲́𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘁, chief heritage curator of the Communauté d'Agglomération de La Porte du Hainaut: The life and work of Lucien Jonas Lucien Jonas (1880-1966), history and genre painter, was awarded the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟱. A military and official painter of the Navy, he also created the 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘅 𝗱𝗲 𝗹'𝗲́𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux. In 1933, he collaborated with the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 for the creation of banknotes. In 1934, he painted the frescoes of the café Aux Sports at the request of the owner. Throughout his life, he paid homage to 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 and his 𝗿𝗲́𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗲̀𝗿𝗲.
