Olympe de Gouges, an emblematic figure of the French Revolution. At the Maison Louise de Bettignies, discover an exhibition dedicated to Olympe de Gouges, a leading figure of the French Revolution and a pioneer in the fight for women's rights. The experience begins with a short film retracing her life and commitment, before allowing you to learn more about her exceptional journey through her biography. This tribute echoes the recent Bastille Day celebrations on July 14th and invites you to rediscover the story of a woman who left her mark on history. Opening hours: Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th July: 2 pm to 5 pm; Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July: 2 pm to 6 pm. The visit is open to the public during opening hours, with a guided tour every day at 3 pm. Free admission.
