The Arenberg Mining Site is hosting the exhibition A Mine of Women, a traveling multimedia exhibition that celebrates the memory of women in mining communities. Through photographs, installations, everyday objects, and sound and light displays, this exhibition gives a voice to those who long lived in the shadow of the miners. It sensitively retraces their daily lives, their memories, their joys, and their essential role in the history of the mining region. An immersive and moving experience awaits you in the compressor room of the Arenberg Mining Site.
