La jeunesse des autres CHRISTIANE EISLER au CRP/

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮 𝗷𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗘 𝗘𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝘂 𝟳 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘂 𝟯𝟭 May 2026 Leipzig, 1980s. The GDR regime weighs heavily on daily life, and the outlook is bleak. But the youth are in turmoil: in the Saxon city, the punk scene is raging and inspires photographer Christiane Eisler to undertake a vast documentary project. During the same period, she immerses herself in a juvenile detention center and interacts with groups of athletes, who at the time embody the pride of the state. Three perspectives on youth, their dreams, and their confrontation with authority, just a few years before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
