On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of its UNESCO World Heritage inscription, the Mining Basin is celebrating! From Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30, 2019, enjoy a weekend of visits, shows and activities to discover the riches of the mining heritage. Download the program quickly! Among the highlights, do not miss out on La Porte du Hainaut: TREASURY HUNT: Organized by the Association of defense and enhancement of heritage and in partnership with the city of Wallers-Arenberg, this treasure hunt will propose to discover the wealth and diversity of heritage Wallers-Arenberg. This tour combines jogging and the discovery of a city. The activity consists of visiting, playing the tourist while running! The course is led by a runner-guide, Denis MENIGAULT accustomed to great European marathons, who knows well the site and the city Sabatier, its spaces and its neighborhoods passable for running. It's also an opportunity to take a fresh look at your familiar environment or not. This course remains a discovery walk accessible to everyone, even beginners! A late-night snack will be offered at the Etoile bar at the Parc Loisirs et Nature in La Porte du Hainaut.
