Abstraction in landscapes to see this month Until November 15, Michèle Thamiry unveils about fifteen of her paintings at the Tourist Office of La Porte du Hainaut, under the theme Abstraction in the landscapes . Directed in oil with a knife in a semi-abstract style, his paintings invite you to escape ... An exhibition not to be missed to explore and share his sensitivity to colors. See you for its inauguration this Wednesday, November 6 at 16 hours. The entrance is free ! The emotion of colors Installed in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, Michèle Thamiry has painted for her pleasure for thirty years. Always attracted by the colors, whether in the landscapes or all the things that surround us, it is obvious for her to express herself through painting and to create with her hands. Since retiring, she has become a member of Rosult's Pratic'art painting club. She has followed courses with confirmed painters, notably with Célestin Messaggio de Giverny, who allowed him to learn the technique of painting with a knife. Little by little, she abandons brushes for the knife and moves away from the figurative for a semi-abstract style. Always guided by the emotion of colors, Michèle Thamiry gives free rein to her imagination. The work takes shape little by little, as and when the colors harmonize. An instinctive creation is born from his hands, suggesting the landscape by the blur. The refinement of the details and the taste for bright, fresh tones give his paintings a personal touch. To discover more widely his pictorial universe, a visit is also essential on his blog Toiles & Passion: The abstraction in the landscapes, exhibition to discover until November 15 2019 at the Tourist Office of La Porte du Hainaut, at 89 Grand'Place in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, from 10h to 12h and from 14h to 17h from Tuesday to Saturday.
