See you for the inauguration of this exhibition on Monday, October 7th at 4pm. The entrance is free ! Painting as a means of expression Bernard Lottiaux, native of Valenciennes, began drawing as a teenager. Then his professional life and health problems took him away from his passion. In 2009, when he stopped his computer science activities, he entered the school of painting and abandoned the pencil to adopt the brush. By the choice of his colors, different atmospheres emerge from his works. While pastel shades bring softness and timelessness, especially in its marine, bright colors, pop, flash lead us into a happy world. Two very different atmospheres he approaches with talent! The artist tells us I paint above all to please me. Painting is a means of expression. And to add: I always proceed with a sketch. I am inspired by photos ». Of a modest temperament, Bernard Lottiaux expresses in his paintings his taste for life, with strength and passion. Note that he is a member of Carré d'Art, a group of friends painters composed of Francine Barbe, Monique Bruyelle and Jacques Heslon, the latter having also exhibited his works this summer at the Tourist Office of La Porte du Hainaut .
